Welcome 2025
The dragons paddle, promote good causes, peddle plants and baked goods, and play games. Our indomitable president, Kay, organized off-season get togethers and Irene photographed the event. Perhaps this will entice you to join the Dark Water Dragons all year round.

The paddling season is ready to blossom

April 26, the dragons first helped tidy the marina and prepare it for some changes.
Then, we launched the dragon boat.

Great way to celebrate Mother’s Day
May 11, our inaugural paddle in perfect conditions. Especially touching was our first of the season Salute to the Seniors, waving to the Pavilion. We had a moment of silence in memory of the recent losses of Helen Wood, Danny Campbell and Ange K.
Thanks to Gina and Marilyn for the photos.

Dragons celebrate May Days, on May 18

After a successful day at Centennial Park, the team waved at crowds during the parade, and won first place in the nonprofit society category. This year, it only rained a little bit.

Another glorious paddle on our lake
Sunday morning on the lake, see our team leaders. Photos by Fran, who captured the spirit.
